April, You're Here Too Soon

If you're like me, the month of March flew by. I can count on two fingers the amount of times I blogged during the month. I've got lots of excuses, only a few being good. No need to dwell on those. Let's move on to April's resolutions!!!!

Again, let's review the 12 Months of Resolutions guidelines:
1. You can choose to do one, two or none of the resolutions. If you are in, just comment to this post and let me know.

2. You can make up your own rules to your resolutions. If you want to tweak it, go right ahead.

3. Have fun. And if you mess up, it's okay. I've not made it through a whole month.

So Resolutions of the month of Avril (French for April, booya!)

Resolution 1: I am going to keep my radio, ipod, etc off on my commute to work every morning. I need some quiet time and this may be my only real chance to get it without distractions of TV and the internet. What will I do with said time? I'm going to take it to be quiet and to hear what the Lord may have to say to me. I thought about doing both my commute to work and from work but decided against it. What will you do with your quiet time?

Resolution 2: I will stop biting, tearing, peeling my nails. It's an old habit from back in the day. And frankly, it's gross. So I'm stopping.

Are you in? Let me know!

  1. I'm totally in! march really flew by and I feel exhausted, so for April resolutions:
    1. get more rest time &
    2. eat better!
love your post! nice meeting your blog ;)

  2. I'm in for #2. I would join #1 also, but I can't turn off those darned kids of mine.

  3. I'm in...I tried the water drinking, and did well with it at work. The paying for everything in cash..yeah..couldnt' do that, but did start bringing my lunch to work. I'm all about the not biting nails and having quiet time on the way to work. Let's see how this works

  4. ok...this nail biting thing is killing me..I've been really really good, and have brought my hand up to bite, but stopped. My nails have grown..looks interesting, not something I remember, i've been biting them so long. The quiet time, well that has devolved into just listening to Jay-Z, Lady Gaga, Coldplay, or U2 on the way to work...I need to work on that one..How are you doing with it, Sassy Mac?

  5. In my quiet time during the drive to work I listen to the roar of my engine blasting through the hole in my dash where a radio once resided until someone ripped it out years ago. But I do that every month.
